The Satelight studio is trying to bank on a topic that used to be very popular. The new anime series The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki chan is based on the spin-off manga which is in turn based on the famous ranobe about Haruhi Suzumiya. There will be no second season of The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki chan, and the anime series will end after 12 episodes. It seems quite reasonable – it is impossible to pull off another season even considering viewers’ sympathy towards Yuki Nagato.
